I was taking a Facebook poll that asked me to choose my favorite movie by big name directors when it struck me - none of the directors were women! So, I added a few names to the list and, in doing some research, learned about some incredible women and the stories they've told so far.

And so, this zine was born. Featuring portraits of 13 female film directors - including Agnes Varda, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Claire Denis, Chantal Akerman, and more - and drawings of posters of their films. All art was done by me, and the text was provided by my movie loving husband, Justin LaLiberty. Because women make movies, too - and darn good ones at that.
